REVIEW – Just recently, I reviewed one of two monitors that I accepted as I work to fulfill a need to provide monitors for my kids, who are now homeschooling. Backstory: For the past three years, my wife has been telling me how dissatisfied she is with the public school system. As she watched our kids go from grade to grade, especially our son, who scored high on the Autism Spectrum, she became 100% convinced that homeschooling was the way to ensure a proper education that would provide them with a better understanding of the core subjects and better support the electives that are specific to their interests. My assignment was to procure 2 complete computer systems including two monitors that were high-end enough to handle graphics and coding if my son continues to develop his interest in coding and if he continues to enjoy his interest in gaming. In addition, my daughter is a budding artist, so this was another reason that the graphic capabilities of the monitor must be quite good. This Titan Army 32″ Curved Gaming Monitor is the second of the two monitors I am testing, and it looks like it will meet the needs of my son quite well. Let’s see.

The Titan Army 32″ Curved Gaming Monitor is well built. The screen is encased in plastic, and the base is metal. There is a thin bezel around three sides of the screen and a larger bezel on the button. A removable mount in the center of the back allows for the base or a wall mount. There is also backlighting. The ports and the control buttons are on the bottom of the monitor.
Performance
The Titan Army 32″ Curved Gaming Monitor is IMHO an exceptionally nice gaming monitor that works well for both personal and professional use. The mounting options are great and the backlighting is a nice touch that adds to the atmosphere when the lights are off. My son seems to like the lighting when he is gaming.
My daily tasks include video editing, movie watching, internet surfing, and administrative work with applications like Microsoft Office. My kids have homeschooling online work every day and my son is now getting into PC gaming. The curved screen provides great viewing for all work, especially his gaming, and the display, refresh rate, and resolution are awesome. I used the EIZO Monitor Test to check for any dead pixels across the color spectrum, and there were no dead pixels. The controls via the On Screen Display provide access to all adjustments that you need and are easy to navigate and use.
OSD Menu Selections:
Overall this is a great monitor, and the curve is a nice design. My son likes it, and I believe that he will get years of use from it. I like that the power transformer is built in so that there is no heavy external power transformer. If I have any dislike, it is that there are no built-in speakers. Although gamers use headsets or external speakers, I still would have liked it to have some built-in speakers.
Below you can see my son in front of the monitor selecting a game and then a video of him playing a game. He is new to PC gaming but I am sure that the next time you see him in a review, he will be going crazy with advanced games.
What I like
- It feels like quality construction
- I love the curved screen and the viewing angles
- The attractive lights at the back of the monitor
- It has an adequate number of inputs
- The transformer is built in so the power cord is a standard PC power cord with no power pack
- power cord
- The screen resolution is great and the refresh rate works for the games my son plays (He is now getting into PC games so the variety is limited)
What I’d change
- I know that most gaming monitors are designed to assume external speakers, but I would still like to see some decent built-in speakers
Final thoughts
The Titan Army N32SQ Plus Gaming Monitor is a nice, all-around capable monitor. I know that its design is geared towards gaming and its specifications support high-resource games, but it also is great for everyday use, and the games my son currently plays are at a novice level. I am very sure that he will quickly advance to more intense games and will, in short order, utilize the full potential of the monitor. Overall, this is a very nice monitor.
