Porsche’s latest La Marzocco espresso machine has a ducktail, and it’s right where you’d put your cups. The raised rail borrows its shape from the 911 Carrera RS 2.7’s rear spoiler, turning a useful part of the coffee machine into its best car reference.

The Porsche x La Marzocco Linea Micra is the centerpiece of the brands’ second collaboration. This time, the inspiration comes from the brightly colored Carrera RS. The paint, gauges and controls all carry a little of the car into your morning coffee routine.

Price: $7,911 before tax for the US Linea Micra RS 2.7 edition

The Porsche details go beyond the paint

Grand Prix White with green accents and Tangerine with black accents are each limited to 911 espresso machines. A third combination, Grand Prix White and Blue, is limited to 150 and sold exclusively in Germany. Porsche’s US shop labels the two US color choices Vipergreen and Blood Orange.

The side carries Carrera RS lettering and the historic Porsche logo. Around the front, red and green details on the pressure gauges echo the car’s instruments, while the black handles get laser-engraved RS and 2.7 markings. There’s also a magnetic RS 2.7 badge and a limited-edition plaque.

Porsche’s reference car debuted in 1972, and its ducktail became one of the RS 2.7’s defining features.

You’re still making the espresso

Under the special finish, the Linea Micra uses separate boilers for brewing and steam, with PID temperature control. That electronic regulation is designed to hold the brewing temperature steady as you work with a chosen espresso recipe.

The paddle activates an on/off microswitch; it doesn’t provide manual pressure profiling. You still prepare the coffee in the portafilter and decide when to stop the shot.

The convertible portafilter switches between single-spout, double-spout and bottomless setups. An insulated steam wand handles milk, LED lights illuminate the brewing area, and the La Marzocco Home app lets you adjust temperature and set an on/off schedule. The Porsche edition’s specification includes an accessible two-liter water tank.

Porsche includes a stainless-steel tamper, two filter baskets, single and double spouts, a blind filter, cleaning detergent and a 350ml milk jug. The grinder is a separate purchase.

Completing the coffee corner costs extra

The matching Pico grinder is listed at $2,125 before tax in Porsche’s US store. Its manual grind adjustment and adjustable magnetic portafilter holder handle the coffee preparation before the machine takes over. An automatically closing hopper and Carrera RS lettering complete the package.

Buy the $7,911 machine and $2,125 grinder together and the total is $10,036 before tax. Porsche’s white Pico listing is the matching option linked here; the orange grinder was marked out of stock when checked.
