REVIEW – Now that I have a couple of motorcycles and a few bikes, my family and I can drive to places further away from home and enjoy the outdoors with our vehicles. Since this has become a passion of ours, I purchased a trailer. one of my concerns is how the heavy load that I will be towing will react if a tire loses pressure and how it could/would affect my ability to drive safely. I need to monitor the trailer’s tire pressures in real time. Enter the GUTA Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

Design and features
The GUTA Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System features a compact and easy-to-use interface with just 4 buttons for setting, adjusting, and reading the information provided via the large LED color display that takes up most of the real estate of the front. On one short edge, is the USB-C charging port, and on the other is the on/off button. On the top edge, there is a stubby antenna, and on the back is a mounting bracket. The monitor measures approximately 7.83 x 6.02 x 3.23 inches and weighs about 1.63 pounds.
Assembly, Installation, Setup
The GUTA Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensor arrived already paired to the main unit. Installation only required ensuring that the tires were inflated to the desired pressure. The next step was to power on the main unit and screw on the sensors to the valve stems. It is important to pay attention to which wheel the sensors are installed so that they match what was programmed in the main unit.
Performance
The GUTA Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System is straightforward to install and use. The interface is easy to read and get information about the tires with the sensors installed. (TPMS) has demonstrated reliable performance and user-friendly operation across various models. The system can monitor up to 34 tires depending on the model which makes it usable on a variety of vehicles from two-wheelers and beyond including trailers, RVs, etc.
According to the manufacturer, the battery life of the sensors is approximately 4 years. The sensors are quite large, especially compared to standard valve caps and since they arrive paired with the main unit, the entire process is plug-and-play. In addition to showing tire pressure, the main unit can also show alerts for situations such as low tire pressure and overheating. There are additional functions that I can test as I get on the road with the device. Since I have installed mine on my 2-wheel trailer that I will be using to haul vehicles of various weights and in varying road conditions, over time I can verify the full capabilities of this device.
The following video covers my installation process and the results:
