The GODOX Cube-SC Kit2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone consists of 2 Transmitters, one Receiver, and a USB-C dongle. All the components fit into a plastic storage/charging case with a USB-C charging port and charge-level LED indicators on the back. The Transmitters have contacts on the bottom that touch the connector pins in the case for charging. There is a clip on the back of each component to attach to your clothing or similar surfaces, with the option to use a magnet to attach them to your clothing.

Performance

The GODOX Cube-SC Kit2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone system offers a lightweight and compact package. It features 2.4 GHz digital transmission technology, a transmission distance of up to three hundred meters line-of-sight, and a 48 kHz/24-bit sampling rate. The two Transmitters have built-in omnidirectional microphones and a dual-channel USB-C plug-in receiver. The Transmitters are tiny, measuring just 25.4 mm x 25.4 mm x 12.7 mm and they weigh only seven grams each. The one-touch noise reduction and wireless recording control add to my ability to use this mic system in multiple ways. I am currently working remotely 100% of the time, and I use my Meta Quest VR for all my MS Teams meetings since it allows me to have multiple large screens that are amazing to use and easy to accommodate multitasking. I must have clear and clean audio which this mic system produces. What makes this a better option than some of the other mic systems I own is the up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge that each Transmitter provides. Since it is easy for me to switch Transmitters, I have approximately 20 hours of use which is amazing. When I put the Transmitter back in the charging case, it charges fully in about 2 hours. Add the remarkable price of just above $100, and this is an excellent choice for a compact and lightweight mic solution that provides good features and quality audio.

It is so lightweight that I do not even remember I have it on. This can be dangerous since I know someone who forgot that they had a similar mic on and washed their clothes with it still attached.

This mic has a unique feature. It works with the IOS Find My Phone App which allows tracking and ensures you won’t leave them behind.

Final thoughts

The GODOX Cube-SC Kit2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone is a great quality mic system that provides portability, versatility, and great audio whenever I need it.

• The set comes with all of the accessories that I need
• The build quality is great.

• The kit recharges relatively quickly and the charge lasts for a long time
• The settings are easy to access and use

What needs to be improved?

• It is a bit difficult to get the Transmitters out of the case.
