REVIEW – Over the past few years, I have been fortunate enough to enjoy reviewing several models of watches from Ciga Design. I love their sleek, techie, and edgy designs and the quality of their watches which have all been mechanical automatic watches. Now I get a chance again with this CIGA Design Eye of Horus Automatic Skeleton Watch.
What is it?
The CIGA Design Eye of Horus Automatic Skeleton Watch is a fully transparent design that gives you a 360-degree view of the watch’s inner mechanics. The obsidian crown adds a touch of mystery and elegance, while the phosphorus glow illuminates the watch in low-light conditions. It is lightweight and shock-resistant.

The CIGA Design Eye of Horus Automatic Skeleton Watch is an automatic mechanical watch featuring a see-through body and a silicone band. The edges of the watch hands illuminate for visibility.
Performance
As per Ciga design:
“The X Series incorporates a self-winding movement that recharges automatically as you wear it.
Applied with 24 jewels(rubies), the automatic mechanical movement offers long-lasting precision, thanks to CIGA Design’s first-ever custom-created Caliber CD 01 Movement. With the enhanced stability from the X frame, the Eye of Horus has a movement frequency of 21600 times per hour.
With that sort of precision, the watch only deviates as low as 15 seconds every 24 hours, giving it near-perfect timekeeping with a reserve power of approximately 40 hours.
With its own customized movement, the Eye of Horus ticks to its own rhythm while barely making a sound. Hold the watch to your ear and struggle so you won’t hear a noise coming out of it but… if you listen closely, you can hear the song of the mechanics at work.”
I am very happy with the overall performance of this watch. So far the time has remained accurate, and even when at rest overnight, it has kept working and kept the correct time. The silicone band is really comfortable and at times I forget that I am wearing the watch. The hands have that nice illumination at the tips that allows me to easily tell the time in the dark and the entire see-through design makes the watch interesting and always a topic of conversation when my friends see it. It is well crafted to precision with no jagged edges or anything that is not pristinely designed and in the right place. Even the symmetry of how the watch face is designed is a nice touch.

Final thoughts
The CIGA Design Eye of Horus Automatic Skeleton Watch is another attractive and nicely designed automatic mechanical watch that is a nice addition regardless of the outfit being worn. The watchband is comfortable and I like that it is lightweight. Just like the Ciga watches that I have previously reviewed, I love the techie look and how well it works.
