Your pets are now able get their groove on without the fear of hurting their fuzzy little ears. Pet Acoustics announces the My Pet Speaker, a sound system designed to support the special hearing sensitivities of dogs, cats and horses. Our pets can hear frequencies that are much higher and lower than what our own ears are capable of hearing. Sounds outside an animal’s normal frequency range can startle or cause them discomfort. This speaker features an Omni directional speaker which broadcasts the music in 360 degrees recreating how animals hear in nature. It also limits frequencies and features a soft bass design for listening comfort keeping frequencies within the comfort range of your pet’s hearing. My cat Max doesn’t seem to mind it when I crank up Big & Rich while I’m walking on the treadmill, but if you want to protect your furry buddies, the My Pet Speaker will be available in March for $249.95 through Amazon.

Am I the only one who’s thinking “You gotta be kidding me” ?
Nope, there are at least 2 of us.
Just goes to show that people will buy ANYTHING…
It would take a real pet-aphile to buy their pet a sound system…
Inventors are really creative. Who would have thought of this idea?
Next up: my dog demands his own netbook, complete with paw-friendly trackpad 🙂
