Performance

Pironman 5 Max 9
The Pironman 5-MAX Dual NVMe M.2 SSD PCIe PC Case for Raspberry Pi 5 is nicely designed and well-built, and provides the overall look and versatility of a great case for the Pi5. The Pironman 5-MAX features a black aluminum chassis, dark acrylic panels, and configurable RGB lighting. It looks like a mini-PC but sexier.
The design includes a nice-sized heatsink, programmable fans that provide good and silent cooling, and prevent any overheating. For my first test, I installed Linux Ubuntu, and the computer worked flawlessly both for my application and with local utilities installed. The operation of the case remained silent. The case itself does get quite warm if the Pi is running continuously, which is the way I use it.

For my daily use case, I run Dakboard on my Pi5 in this case 24/7 without any heat or performance issues. The case is quiet even when at higher speeds.

The integrated 0.96-inch OLED display provides clear, real-time system metrics. The network performance is fast and consistent. The case includes the slot for a GPIO extension board. Internally, 2 SSSDs can be added, so storage is not a problem if the use case is a NAS, media server, etc.

Overall, the Pironman 5-MAX is designed for expansion and performance, and looks really sleek and nice. Its small and compact footprint means that whatever your use case, it will blend right into your décor. As a bonus, the LED lighting is nice.
