Raptic Headphons Stand 7
REVIEW – I have lots of headphones (at least 9 sets) that hang around my workstation. I use wall mounted hangers for most of them, but it would be nice to have a desktop headphone stand for my daily use headphones. The Raptic Rise Headphone Stand and wireless charger is not just a headphone stand, but also a wireless charger for my phone and it can charge the headphones as well via USB. Let’s give it a try!!

What is it?

The Raptic Rise Headphone Stand with Qi wireless charger features a headphone stand and a 12W Qi wireless charging pad to power up your wireless charging-compatible phone. There is also a USB-A port for charging headphones and other devices.

What’s in the box

1 x AC Adapter with USB-C Cable

Design and features

  • Solid aluminum headphone stand built to hold your Beats, Bose, Sony, or any over-the-ear headphones.
  • The base pad provides up to 12W for the fastest possible wireless charge for your phone
  • Product Dimensions: 5.1 W x 4.0 D x 10.6 H (inches), 14.7 oz
  • USB-A port in back to charge your headphones

The base is a weighted base with the surface as a Qi wireless charging pad.

Performance

The setup for this headphone stand is basic. You just have to screw in the upright to the base. Well, the very small screws have to fit in a tight screw hole, and rather than a Phillips screw head, they provide an Allen key to use on screws with a shallow screw head. This was a totally ridiculous part of putting this together. If this was not a review, I would have grabbed 2 small screws with a Phillips head from my kit. The photo below shows how the screws ended up, and as you can see, one of them was just impossible to screw all the way in using the provided Allen key.
Raptic Headphons Stand 6The photo below shows it all set up with headphones on it that are being charged and an iPhone wirelessly charging. I expected a somewhat quick charge, but it seems to charge my phone quite slowly.

What I like

  • The design
  • The wireless charging capability
  • The dual charging

What I’d change

  • The screws provided to attach the stand to the base

Final thoughts

This Raptic Rise Headphone Stand with Wireless Charger has a nice weighted base that is not too heavy but enough to support even large headphones. The ability to charge the headphones while they are on the stand and the inclusion of the Qihe wireless charging pad are nice features. The issue with the screws provided is just a nuisance issue. However, IMHO, it is expensive for what it is.

  2. Hey Man, Sorry.. i cant identify the headphones that was used in the pics for this article.. so im .. wanting to know. by asking u direct. ehehehe.. what headphones is that???

  3. On the last photo the headband is compressed so badly by sharp corners – this will damage headband in long run. I prefer rounded corners of the top base.
