The DOBBY is a new compact drone optimized for low-level photography that has some impressive features. When not in use it folds up to the length and width of an iPhone (5.3in x 2.5in x  1.33). When ready for flight, it unfolds and flies automatically. The drone is controlled by an iPhone or Android app that supports positioning from screen gestures and voice commands from up to 100 m away. Once in the air, the battery supports 9 minutes of flight time and the unit comes with a spare battery. The drone uses GPS / GLONASS dual-mode positioning and can use chassis mounted optics and ultrasonics if there is no positioning signal.

The drone includes a triaxial electronic image stabilization system and the lens may be positioned between straight down and 22.5° above the horizon. These advancements mean that a gimble is not needed. The camera seems very advanced: 13 MP (4208 x 3120) resolution from a 1/3.06 inch CMOS sensor. the lens has an ISO equivalent of 100-3200, f/2.2 aperture and 75° field of view. The image engine can record 4K@30 FPS or 1080p@30 FPS to a built-in 16GB storage card. Additionally, the camera supports object tracking and facial recognition.

The ZeroTech DOBBY is available now on Banggood for $499.99.
