You might remember the Pilot FriXion erasable ball point pen that I reviewed a couple years ago. Now Pilot is offering markers with the same ink erasing capability. The FriXion Color markers are available in over 20 different vibrant colors. The ink in these markers is thermo sensitive. To erase it, you have to heat up the paper. To do that you just rub the rubber end (it’s not an actual eraser, but acts like one) over the ink to make it transparent. Note that the ink can reappear when the temperature reaches below 14 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also not advised to leave these pens in a hot vehicle or use them to sign official documents. You can buy the Pilot FriXion Color markers from JetPens for $1.75 each or in multi-marker sets for a slight discount.

  2. I like this a LOT! I teach and use erasable white boards at many schools. But most corporations don’t have this type of thing.

With this a sheet of foam core with paper on the sides can be a white board.
