If you’d like to carry your phone in a jeans pocket, but not necessarily one on the jeans you happen to be wearing, check out the Tunewear STRAPOCKET Jeans for iPhone and Samsung Galaxy.  The pocket is made of a stretchy material that allows it to accommodate an iPhone (3G, 3GS, 4/4S, 5), iPod touch (1st-5th generations), or a Samsung Galaxy phone (s1 /si / i9000; s2 / sii / i9100; s3 / siii / i9300; or s4 / s iv / i9500).  It has two pockets – a large one for the phone and a smaller one for earphones or a card or two.  It has a clip to attach it to D-rings, or the straps with Velcro closures and a non-slip surface so you can place it securely around your bag strap.  It even has a cutout in the bottom of the phone pocket for attaching your earbuds.  It’s available in Black, Blue, Red, Brown and Beige for $21.25 from Allputer.

I wondered that, too. They do say it’s stretchy, so I guess it could accommodate some cases.

Joel, I think it might stay in place okay if you use the Velcro flaps on the back to wrap it around a bag strap. It says it has some non-slip material that helps the straps hold it in place. If you just use that black plastic clip to clip it on a belt loop or something, I think it’s going to be banging around with every stride unless you can stick it in a nearby clothing pocket, too. I wonder if a lot of movement would jar the phone out of the pocket if it was flopping around while you run?
