The Quickindicator from Nord Zeitmachine promises it has the world’s quickest minute hand on a wrist watch.  I’m not sure what the benefits of a quick minute hand are, but the watch does look very cool.  These watches are made in Switzerland in a one-man shop.  Daniel, the owner of Nord Zeitmachine, has a few other watches on his site, none of which have prices listed.  It appears these are expensive collectibles, but if you are a watch aficionado, you probably want to check out the Nord Zeitmachine website and watch the Quickindicator video – if only to say you’ve seen the world’s quickest minute hand.

Isn’t “a minute” a fixed unit of time? Does it move quicker than a minute? If so, doesn’t that defeat the purpose of accurately keeping time??? Just sayin’ 🙂

  3. Ok, from the video, basically the minute hand goes around the watch several times per hour. (There are three circles of minute indicators on the watch face, and it transverses all of them.)

  4. Thanks for the clarification. The video was not in real time, so I thought it went around 3 times a minute.
