  2. That makes no sense … every piece of paper I filled with notes could be digitized by the iPhone camera. So why do I need this smartpen and his receiver?

  3. @Wovvbagger, I would think the capture done by the pen would be more accurate than the rather poor camera in an iPad…or even the iPhone’s camera if not held properly.
    I’m not saying it’s a must buy…but I’m sure for some it could be of help.

  4. Another vote for photographing notes. i save them in Evernote. I use an iPhone iPhone 4 and the Camera Plus app to take the picture, rotate, crop, and then Auto adjust which does a fantastic job of boosting contrast and sharpening to make print super readable before saving.

  5. pen + receiver = extra gadget that I will loose in months time
    still can’t beat the convenience of grabbing a pen & write on use paper/napkin….. then take a picture of it.
    or write on the ipad & iphone directly.
