stauer eremos watchThe Eremos watch from Stauer features a stainless steel case (42mm diameter, 12mm thick) and a leather band.  That’s where the similarity to regular watches ends.  The Eremos is a regulator watch, which is a timepiece based on the observatory clocks of the 1800s that were so precise because they separated the hour and minutes dials.  This miniature regulator has a scrolling hour display and a sun and moon dial.  The watch works are visible through the Cotswold crystal and through the exhibition back.  It’s water-resistant to 3ATM, and it fits a 6.5-8.5″ wrist.  It’s $196 at Stauer, and it will be available 9/22.

….Please…..It’s usually chinese movement with mineral glass replica of other design which is not a bad thing, however. Nice but you can get better one at that price…..

  3. And my cheap-o-matic Casio Atomic watch, which dials into the WWV time signal, works just as well, keeps accurate time, and costs a heck of a lot less 😉
