setgo transportI consider myself a personal electronic device transportation solution enthusiast.   OK, I have a gadget bag fetish, alright?  Like many of us, I’m constantly on the lookout for a better way to haul my must-have gear.  When I stumbled upon the Transport “urban bag” by Setgo, my interest was piqued.  With its low-profile, over-the-shoulder design, it reminds me of the ammunition bandolier sported by a certain Wookiee co-pilot.  Front features include two quick access pockets for phones or pods, an inside zip-up pocket and slide-in metro card.  Back features include three internal pockets for gear storage, a large main zip-up pocket.  Nylon and available in black.  $80.00.  Rrraaawwrr!

  2. If the back pocket was big enough to hold an iPad, I’d order right now.

It doesn’t look like it is though, sadly.

  3. It looks pretty cool, and I probably would have bought it a few years ago before the iPad came out. Like Joe said, I’d get it if the iPad fits.

  4. Ok… I usually do not go out and say something like this but: Do not buy this. It is a piece of junk. As soon as mine arrived today I immediately knew i made a mistake. I am a big guy so I released the strap all the way out. The whole bag is so small (much smaller than u expect) that the top part chafes my neck and it doesn’t sit well. Totally uncomfortable. I tried it on my girlfriend (she is tiny) and the same thing happened to her… and even worse the tightening strap slides out of the tightening metal thingy. The stitching is strong but not uniform. It seems to be made out of some sort of ripstop nylon with a thin foam sheet on front and back as a frame. And the piece de resistance? The zipper pull actually came off the zipper the first time i opened it… It was an easy fix with a pair of pliers… but seriously, I felt I ordered something that cost $87 (includes 8 bucks shipping) that could have cost about $4 at somewhere like handhelditems.com . Oh, it also has 3 pockets inside made of nylon (2 of which fit the iphone perfectly). Oh, and the rough velcro enclosure scratched my $100 leather vaja iphone case as I had to force it out of the front phone holder. Anyways, I ordered this about a week before this was posted here… So it is completely my fault. Just be warned. =)
