airturn ipadIf you use sheet music to perform and practice music with your favorite instrument, you know that it can be almost impossible to turn pages without stopping the flow of your playing. AirTurn already has a device that works with laptops to turn pages forwards and backwards using foot pedals and now they are working on a Bluetooth device that will be compatible with the iPad. The advantages of using and iPad over a laptop are battery life and better portability. This device is slated for availability by the end of the year, but pricing hasn’t been announced yet. 2. When I first started reading this, I thought it was an app that would display sheet music and listen to what was being played and advance the screen based on what was being played. Maybe something that scrolled instead of showing a new ‘page’.

Disclaimer: I don’t read sheet music, so I’m making some assumptions here. 🙂
