The One For All Universal Multi-Charger can charge up to three devices simultaneously, with no sloppy wires. There is an LED light for each charge slot. Once each device is fully charged, that slot shuts down automatically and the LED goes out – so, as well as saving energy, you can tell the charging process is complete without having to check the device itself. It also uses turbo-charge technology to reduce the charging time.  For example, to charge a Nokia 5200 phone from 0-100% using a standard charger would take 155 minutes.  With the Universal Multi-Charger, it takes just 115 minutes – that’s 25% faster.   When no devices are charging, power consumption is less than 0.5W. Seven interchangeable tips are included in the pack for iPod/iPhone, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, MiniUSB (5 pin), LG, Samsung and MicroUSB. The charger is will be available in the UK and priced at £59.99.

  2. I have ordered an idapt 3 recently and currently awaiting the unit. This is comparable and a bit cheaper but the concept is pretty much the same. IDAPT has been elected among the most innovative products of the CES 2010 in the Portable Power category so I feel confident in that product as well. As for the size comparing to this unit? I am unsure at this point, but I will post back in two weeks time if someone is interested.

  3. I think the first kid or careless colleague to accidentally bump the charging phones is either going to break the connector, or worse, break the socket on the phone. No thanks.

  4. i had exactly the same thought as chriszzz, though i didn’t think kids, i thought i’d break it myself tossing things on the bench, knocking it or even putting the phone on crooked
