"Knee Defender ($14.95) For anyone whose ever suffered from the annoying, out-of-control brat in the plane seat in front of you, the Knee Defender is for you. "

I have never had a problem with children reclining seats it is always adults who decide that they are going to spend the whole 14 hours from Singapore to London with their head in my lap :-(

Nice list of gadgets though.

Anyone with iTunes can go into the iTunes store and then the apps store. You can even buy and download although obviously you can't run them without a Touch or iPhone. Still gives you an idea of what is out there at the moment.

No good for us the green ones are all illegal imports in Australia now -- unless you have some justification. People keep trying to shine them at planes and police helicopters. I have once had a use for a green laser when giving a seminar where the data projector was back projected from behind the screen. For these screens red lasers just shine straight through without reflecting enough to be visible.

I would have enjoyed this as a kid. Beats focusing sunlight onto paper and ants with a magnifying glass!

That's really neat. I miss the old 12" powerbook -- such a great size.

I do wonder though how long Apple legal will let them distribute Leopard :-)

"I am not a lawyer, but it would seem to me that what an end user does with their legally purchased family pack of OS X with a few licenses left is their business."

Sadly no as you didn't purchase the software you purchased a license to use it according to the end user license agreement that you can find on Apple's web site. I recommend not looking at it as I think it's better not to know :-)

The Wind looks good. I'll be interested to see how it goes on a trip.
