I thought it took quite a bit of energy to pop corn, so I looked around: http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2008/06/cellphones-cant.html

The first video is amusing: http://www.snopes.com/science/cookegg.asp

I would hate to think someone took a microwave oven apart to do this stunt (unshielded RF). Probably was a hidden hot plate.

I have been using PalmOS since 1998. I use TopSecret and YAPS, both freeware, for passwords and other critical info. Neither has a freeware desktop component. Life would be much easier if I could get the PalmOS and Windows versions of eWallet.

My wife and I have had our own Z520a's for the last 2 years. Hers finally crapped out (display went all white). Mine is still going.

You are right - the camera is poor, but the battery lasts about 4 days. You forgot to mention the voice dialing that works over a Bluetooth headset - pretty sweet. The one thing I hate about this phone is that there is an external button for the camera, which is easily pressed. My wife and I have dozens of pictures of the inside of our pocket/purse from accidental presses. My office forbids camera phones too, so whenever it goes off, it makes the shutter sound and people around me look around for the "spy" taking pictures.

My wife has gone to a Motorola SLVR phone, which has a better camera and better battery life.

I have played this game on PalmOS (Zodiac2), and it is loads of fun - well worth $7.99.

I presume the instructions say something about connecting the + terminal of the charger to the + terminal of the battery, and vice versa? Reversing the terminals would probably be bad.
