Just put some tapes over the velcro parts and you are set: no more ripping sound that can make the have-too-much-coffee guy nearby jump.

My wife and I did not celebrate Valentine this year: I am busy running around finding a job and she did not feel like making a big fuss about Valentine. I have promised myself getting her what she wants to make it up: a 15" MacBook Pro (since her iBook is currently used by our 9- and 7-year-old daughters most of the time).

When I was in elementary school, my father gave me some leaves and told me to use them as bookmarks because they could increase my memory and improve my grade. After a couple of months, I did notice that my memory power increased and so was my grade. When I grew up, I found out because I believed in those leaves, I studied harder, hence the improvements.

My brother also received those same leaves. However, he believed that with those leaves, he did not have to study and still get good grades. You figure out his results.

So, to borrow a line from the animated movie Chicken Run: "It's all in me head!"

My current favorite is a Sony Ericsson W810i: it is small, holds my contacts, notes (doubled as a shopping list), photo notes, family album, maps, secured passwords, and some game. I use the camera on this phone quite often to take notes and to take photos when my camera is not around. Here is a picture I took with this phone (after some retouch): http://www.thedigitalstory.com/blog/2008/03/needleandrail_grab.html

Best of all, the W810i syncs with my Mac via bluetooth. I also use bluetooth to transfer photos I took.

I even print out documents at work, which freaks out my coworker/mentor for "killing trees." But that is just me: I like reading from paper much better than on screen. However, I do read from screen: it is nicer to search on screen than on paper.
