Personally, I would go the repair route. However, I would do the repair myself since I'm a frequent DIYer and penny-pincher. If I can fix my broken iPod with a toothpick, then by Joe, I'll stick a toothpick in there. Whatever works. Fortunately, used replacement parts could be had from eBay really cheap. Yay eBay.

It's the iPhone for me. I just can't get over the fact that I have the real internet available to me anytime and anywhere. Sure Flash isn't supported, but that's okay for now. I'm sure they'll get around to it (I'm in no rush). Would love to have Yahoo IM though, but that might be around the corner soon. Besides, it's constantly being updated anyway.
