I pretty much buy my own tech things because unfortunately I'm mainly the only one who's into gadgets in the family/friend circle. :( In a way, it's great to receive non tech gifts-who doesn't need more cozy pajamas? I receive the bath&body scenty things and a family friend always comes through with a bottle of spirits to keep the holidays happy! ;) Lastly, my mom is a gift card giver.

I want a new internet tablet. I was very close to getting an iPod Touch (still might!) as I like the idea of a handheld internet tablet like device with the storage. I mean, I love Nokia (have an increasingly outdated 770) and would choose the N800 or N810, but I love 8 or 16gb choice for iTouch. Then again, Nokia has the bluetooth which would go great with my cell phone data plan (when not using a hotspot or free wifi). Oh well, the Christmas bills are knocking at my door so I may have to wait a little while longer for a new tech toy ;)

My Valentine's Day was wonderful, and I haven't been able to say that too often in my 30something years. My boyfriend and I didn't go out to dinner, rather we ordered in some wonderful Italian food, sipped wine, exchanged gifts (I received a beautiful diamond and ruby pendant/necklace!) and settled in. There was no teary phonecalls to girlfriends blubbering about being lonely while guzzling Apple Martinis, or sitting in a bar having my ego stroked by drunks...I am more than content today ;-)
Of course getting that Nokia phone would put the cherry on top of my sundae!

I receive mag subscriptions (ESPN, New York, Blender) but other then that, I mainly read mags on my computer. I have Zinio e-subscription service on my laptop as well, and all of my subscriptions are at a reduced rate.
Like others, I mostly like to read on my mobile devices as it's more convenient. Newsreaders, Avanto Go and the like are popular.
