Zagg, the company that makes the practically indestructible invisibleSHIELD skins for electronics, now offers LEATHERskins for iPads. Instead of the familiar clear plastic, LEATHERskins are a soft, thin piece of leather that applies to the back of your iPad. The LEATHERskin for iPad is available in black or brown, and you can choose plain leather [...]

To be honest, I have not used a mouse pad in years at either home or work. I walked through my floor at work and found that about one out of 20 were using a mouse pad. With the advent of the laser mouse and the roller ball a thing of the past, mouse pad [...]

Saddleback Leather Company is well known for their rugged bags that are constructed to last a lifetime. A claim which they back up with a whopping 100yr warranty. I’ve reviewed several of their bags in the past couple of years, but this is the first time that they’ve offered to send me one of their [...]

A few weeks ago, I submitted a news article about the new Custom Book Pouch from Renaissance Art, a maker of beautiful, handmade leather goods based in Santa Fe, NM. Renaissance Art designed these pouches as a storage or presentation pouch for paper books. But since 99% of my reading is on my Sony PRS-600 [...]

Guys have it easier when they want to carry around their gear. Their clothing tends to have more – and more useable – pockets. They most always wear belts, and they can wear cases clipped to the belt for their phones, iPods, and other small gear. Women don’t always have belts, nor do most women [...]

My reviews of Saddleback Leather Company bags have proved to be very popular on The Gadgeteer.com. Many of our readers who have gone on to purchase their products have written back to let us know that they have been more than happy with them. Today I wanted to do a quick review of one of [...]

I have been a fan of leather bags from the Saddleback Leather Company since my first review of their Briefcase bag and then their Explorer’s Satchel. The style of their bags is what I would call American adventure. They look like something that you might see a person carrying 100 years ago. Definitely a style [...]

Ooooh, look at this. Vaja has just announced the Slim Jacket for the Sony Vaio P notebook. Seeing this makes me want to buy the Vaio P. And the Vaja case… Must.resist.must.remain.strong. Where’s my Visa card?

If you recently purchased the Kindle 2 e-book reader, you might have been surprised to find out that Amazon failed to include any type of protective case. If you remember, the original Kindle included a cover. A lame one, but it was better than nothing. Luckily, it didn’t take long at all for cases and [...]

I recently upgraded from a first to second generation iPod Touch with more capacity. Surprisingly, many of the cases I had for my original Touch fit my new iPod. But sadly not perfectly….. So, I decided to try a few cases specifically fitted for the second generation Touch. Sena was kind enough to send me [...]

Last month at Macworld Expo I had the opportunity to meet the folks from Sena. After working with them for years, it was nice to finally shake their hands and put faces to the names. When I got back from Macworld, I had a whole gaggle of iPhone cases arrive from them to review. Let’s take a look…

I can’t believe that it’s been almost eight years since we had a review of an Incipio case on The Gadgeteer! Back then, the review was of a generic PDA case. Today I have three iPhone very different cases for you to take a look at.

Once again Vaja‘s
style and craftsmanship shines through with the i-volution
Top Holster for the iPod Touch. Vaja has the unique ability of creating
cases that not only protect our precious tech-toys but turn heads as well. Many
of Vaja cases are so nice (and sometimes extravagant), they themselves
should be protected from day-to-day use and hazards.

Working in the technology industry, I get a fair amount of products in the mail. Over time, I have become less enthusiastic about package deliveries. I love opening boxes and trying new things, but I no longer obsessively check tracking numbers multiple times a day or intercept the delivery man as he is walking up to my sidewalk. However, there are still a few products that I await the arrival of with bated breath: in this instance, a Vaja leather case for my iPhone.

You know a device has hit milestones in popularity when
Vaja makes a case for it.
Not that there was really any doubt that the
iPhone wasn’t going
to end up being as uber-popular as it is. But just incase you didn’t know,
the iPhone is crazy popular, and as a result there are now several Vaja cases
for it. The first one we’re going to look at here on The Gadgeteer is the
iVolution Holster.

I recently upgraded my PDA from a T2 to the Palm T|X. I was somewhat disappointed when I got the T|X to see that it only came with a flimsy flip cover. (Not much screen protection there.) Since I had a Vaja case for my T2, I wanted to check out the Vaja cases for the T|X.
