I’m a big fan of green devices and ways to save electricity and money. I currently use a Belkin Conserve power strip and love it. The PC and TV TrickleSavers from TrickleStar are similar products, but in addition to the US, there are also versions available for Australia, New Zealand, UK, Italy, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. When the main device is turned off (PC or TV), it will automatically power down any accessories (monitors, DVDs, DVRs, Audio/Video receivers, etc), saving electricity. When you turn the PC or TV on again, it will power up the accessories.
