As a person who is always looking for the ultimate alarm clock, I think I’ve found one that definitely comes closer than any product that I’ve tested so far. The people at American Innovative have taken their
Neverlate 7-day alarm clock, which I had reviewed 3 years ago and have updated it with new features to create a model called the Executive. This one has the ability to program up to 9 alarms per day. Wow!
A couple of years ago, I reviewed the Innovative Sleep Solutions Sleeptracker watch. This watch claimed to wake a person up at the optimal time in his or her sleep cycle, causing the person to awake refreshed and ready to face their day. Unfortunately, the watch didn’t work well for me and I have continued to bury my head under the covers every morning when my evil alarm clock rings. Since that review, I’ve kept an interest in these types of devices and was happy to try again when the folks at aXbo offered their Sleepphase alarm clock for review.
I work with Julie, and one afternoon we were talking about various iPod accessories. She’s never used anything
from the iLuv line of iPod accessories, so I volunteered to write a review. This is a review of the iLuv i177BLK.
This clock is also available in white.
My never ending quest to find the world’s coolest and most feature loaded clock recently led me to the chumby. What the heck is a chumby you ask? It’s a small touch screen device that functions as a clock and also displays information from the web such as news, stocks, photos and more by connecting to the internet via WiFi. At the time of this writing, the chumby is not yet selling to the public. I was lucky enough to get on a list to buy one of the first 50 units that were available. That means that it is possible that some features and hardware details may change in the production version of this product that should be available before the end of the year. With that said, let’s take a look at this cool little device.
At the end of last year, I reviewed the iH5 iPod Clock by iHome. I liked it well enough, but it left me wanting more. The latest iPod alarm clock to grace my night stand is XtremeMac’s Luna. If you’re wondering if the iH5 that was next to my bed before, has now been banished to my shelf of discarded gadgets, you’ll need to keep reading to find the answer.
This might seem odd, but I’m as picky about my alarm clocks as I am about my gear bags and smart phones! I’m the kind of person that likes flexibility and for the most part, the typical alarm clock does not offer that feature. Usually you get 1 alarm and if you’re really lucky, you might get 2. Today I’m going to show you the RiteAlarm Clock from Rayna Creations Inc. which has 3 alarms. One for weekdays, one for Saturdays and one for Sundays.
If you are like me, and victim to the snooze button, then you
should definitely get your hands on a Clocky!
If you haven’t heard
of him, he’s the alarm clock that jumps from your night-stand and
runs around your room, making funny/cute sounds along the way, as
if desperate to get you up. Kind of like a pet. Because you don’t
know where he’ll be, you have to search for him to turn him off and
viola! you wake up in the process.
Now here’s a great idea that gave me one of those “Why didn’t I think of that?” feelings when I first saw it. It’s the Rise & Shine Deluxe Natural Alarm Clock Bedside Lamp from Verilux. This company sells a variety of illumination products. I actually reviewed their HappyLite Mini Ultra earlier this month. The Rise & Shine combines a clock, radio and lamp all in one device.
I don’t think I am wrong when I make the claim that the Apple iPod has generated more accessories than any other electronic device on the market today. There’s always room for one more iPod accessory right? Today I’m going to review the iHome iH5. This is a clock radio compatible with all iPods that have a docking connector. Hey, you you don’t even need an iPod to use this device. It’s a lot more fun if you do though.
In my never ending search for the ultimate cool clock, I have stumbled upon the C.I.D Colored LCD Clock from Brando’s Watch site. From the description on his site, this time keeper appeared to be right up my alley. Funky, small and chunky. My 3 favorite adjectives when it comes to describing almost any gadget. [...]
My search for the ultimate alarm clock has led me to American Innovative’s Neverlate 7-day Alarm Clock. Although this clock radio was designed with the busy college student in mind, I thought it might have the right set of features to earn a permanent spot on my bedside table. As the name implies, this clock [...]
Product Requirements: Two AAA batteries (included) While I was recently perusing the Watch Brando site, I came across an interesting gadget, the Turnable Calendar Clock. This 2.75" tall x 2.75" wide x 1" thick translucent colored block includes the day and date, the time, an alarm, a room temperature meter, a countdown timer and a [...]
