Remember the lawsuits against Apple regarding real browser speed on the iPhone compared with how TV commercials portrayed the speed? Apple even issued a statement to the effect that people who believe the ads that they see on TV are fools. I was thinking about this last night when I saw a commercial on TV for the BlackBerry Storm. The commercial shows a close up of the Storm, with someone’s finger clicking links on Amazon.com. Are we fools again if we believe these commercials? Today is the day I planned to find out.

Three down and four to go… I’m actually kinda bummed that I said that I would spend 7 whole days with this phone. The more I use the BlackBerry Storm, the more I am becoming annoyed by it. But it’s only been three days, so I’m not going to give up yet. I promise.

Today I focused primarily on trying the instant messaging clients again (Yahoo!, AIM, etc.), the camera and music player. [click to continue…]

I spent the weekend and today trying a few of the Storm’s built in applications including the suite of Documents To Go applications, Visual Voicemail, and the video viewer. Seven days ago I started using the BlackBerry Storm as my primary phone. I forwarded all my calls from my AT&T account so that I would actually be forced to use this phone full time, with no cheating.
