I chose the Mt. Bierstadt slim case (hey, I live in Colorado) for the reasons you cite; not yet another black shiny case. And yes, it’s real wood inlay, made right here in the good ‘old US of A., high quality and is holding up very well. And I routinely get comments about the case.
