I have been using a Venstar ColorTouch thermostat since reviewing one almost 6 years ago. I still like using it, but when it comes to features, it has lagged behind the big guys in the thermostat market like Nest. I’m happy to announce that Venstar has added new capability to their line of ColorTouch programmable touch screen WiFi thermostats. They can now be controlled with your voice through an Amazon Echo or the Amazon Echo Dot. Using the Echo, you will be able to set temperatures, turning on heat or air conditioning for one or more thermostats in your home. This is good progress but I think Venstar still has a lot of catching up to do. Visit Venstar for more info. You can also order through Amazon.
