A couple of reviews ago, I mentioned that I had a new job and was receiving many business cards and I reviewed a solution to mange them.  Well, if one is receiving business cards it’s normal to exchange your card, so I needed a way to carry them.  I did dig up an old silver card case, but it was bulky and didn’t feel too good if I put it my back pocket and sat down.  Luckily for me I came across the Waterfield Designs Spike Wallet. The Spike Wallet comes in two sizes:  Business card: 4.3″ x 2.5″ and Wallet: 4.3″ x 3″. They both are made from Grizzly brown, naturally tanned, distressed, full-grain leather.  The review unit is the business card size.

There’s nothing fancy about the closure.  It’s a slit that accepts the top flap.

The small wallet will accept about 15 standard size business cards.

You can also use it to carry about 5 credit cards or a combination with the business cards.

The case is small and thin enough to carry in a pocket or purse and keeps your business cards clean and available.

The Spike Wallet has become my only card case.  Its minimalist design and high-grade materials gets the attention of people when we exchange business cards.  It’s a luxury product at a reasonable cost.  If you’re like me and are not enamored with faux leather products, treat yourself to a genuine leather card case made in the USA.

I use this daily to hold my business cards. It keeps them clean and looks good when I pull it out of my pocket.

  2. @bill: any sign of leather dye/color rubbing off on the cards? I got a similar-sized black leather card wallet from another leather bag company but found that the slight rubbing of the interior against the cards due to carrying it in my pocket was discoloring my cream-colored cards.
