  1. Gadgeteer Comment Policy - Please read before commenting
  2. I really like reading product reviews on the-gadgeteer.com site. I really like how the reviews tend to have pros, cons, specs, and pricing, which are all valuable.

  3. I think you have a very good balance currently of various genre of articles. Have been following your site since it’s early days.

  4. I find the product reviews (you know, of gadgets and other assorted products) to be helpful. There are so many reviews of apps – even in app stores – but to find a really detailed review about products, complete with multiple, high-quality photos, is difficult. I especially liked your review of the Bellroy slim wallet. I am considering ‘slimming’ a bit, myself.
Thanks for the work you do!

  5. I like product reviews and I really like long term review updates. It’s always great to hear how a product holds up to the test of time.

  6. Terry Pescosolido

Product reviews. The gadgeteer is my go-to place for product reviews. The reviews have influenced what I buy in a very positive way.

  7. Product reviews. Over the years (back to PalmPilot days), I’ve probably spent a (quick mental tally) a couple of thousand dollars (!) on products based on positive reviews I’ve seen here at The Gadgeteer, and avoided some products that I wouldn’t have liked.

  8. Love the site, and if anything, I’d like to read more how-to articles. With your super ninja gadgeteer skills, tell me how to do the things that will make life easier, and how to use my gadgets to the fullest!

  9. Really enjoy reading the the reviews of all the latest gear, knowing that each writer has used the gear and tested it. The news is always interesting.

  10. I love the product reviews, after reading I usually go to the product page, sometimes I end up buying the item. I would really like to see more reviews on media boxes to send media from external drives to the TV.

  11. Actually, the BoxWave cables seemed the most practical of the bunch, although I’d never turn down a battery case.

  12. I love the gadget reviews; more specifically, the miscellaneous category. I really like checking out all the weird and different doodads that are out there, and when there are reviews of them, even better!!

  13. I love the product reviews especially the non electronic but novel products like the Keysmart. I usually end up buying these unique stuff after reading the reviews.

  14. Product reviews are my favorites. They are always thorough and well written. I find I have a much better grasp of the product after reading through the reviews here in comparison to many other sites.

  15. Product reviews, since WE all love gadgets. But, tips/tricks to tweak or improve existing tech would be great to see as well.

  16. I most enjoy the product reviews and app reviews. General industry news is interesting, but not the first thing I go to.

  17. I really like the site for in-depth product reviews. One of the first helpful ones way back when was for the Tapwave Zodiac 2. So fun to read your insight and see all of the pictures. 🙂

  18. Love the product reviews. Helpful in so many ways. I also enjoy reading up on the different gadgets I find here.

  19. I’ve already purchased exclusively after reading and liking the “real person testing” you perform on all your products, ex..The phone holders for vehicles, explaining the issues with dashboards being “to textured” to securely hold the devices. These type of commentaries help me purchase the right product I need every time.
    Thanks again
    Paul

  20. I really like puppies. Not the kind with curly coats, but rather the smooth coat ones. Beagles, Harriers, Mastiffs… It don’t matter.
    Honey Badger don’t care.

  21. New to the website that just popped out of the blue, almost send to the junk box but started reading instead since I am a gadget addict, this website has become one of my favorite and I am learning so much about new products, like I needed another source to spend my money, Oh boy!

Great job people, keep-up the good work!

  22. My favorite review is for the KeyShair! And my favorite type is still product hands-on review. I used to come here more often during the PalmPilot era, but now I am back!

  23. More App reviews! Lifestyle type of apps would fit in with the other reviews (Travel, business, calendar, etc. NOT social media driven), is it intuitive, positive layout, and real-life usage /value. Also for long term use, do you still use it often or is it a forgotten app, buried in a folder or deleted.

    Thanks!

  24. The articles I find most interesting are the “day in the life” type articles telling us how you make use of a collection of gadgets to accomplish particular activities.

  25. I like the reviews of gadgets that help in or around the house. Being a homeowner and gadget geek, they are always helpful, and allow me make better decisions when purchasing things for my house.

  26. The Gadgeteer is like my devotional for tech reviews. I enjoy all posts, even on things that I have no interest, I read and just gives me delight. I can relate to the reviews and most of the time, the knowledge from the review helps me when I need solutions for the people that I support. I love it that I can see reviews on my FB feed. Thank you!

  27. (My main web site www,real-time is undergoing a major renovation.)

I am interested only in product reviews–but it important that a review compare a product’s pros and cons with at least some of those of its closest competitors, not just be out of context. Takes you more time but that’s why they pay you the big bucks LOL!

  28. I’ve been reading your website for more than ten years. I have purchased products from it a number of times. The items you are giving away look interesting and useful. I appreciate the time you spend doing this job.
    Thanks,
    ken

  29. Addendum: My favorite aspect of The Gadgeteer are the reviews, plain and simple. The form the background for my purchases.

  30. I thirst for the daily reviews and especially enjoy the electronics product reviews. I don’t care all that much for the multiple product reviews. In groupgs.

  31. I visit your sit chiefly for the product reviews…please them coming. Please keep me in the drawing for the prize.

  32. I really like the reviews. Any and all reviews, especially of the gear bag and home electronic items because I hate wasting my money buying something that looked cool but turned out it wasn’t.

  33. My favorite posts are on category breakers, someone trying to do something really new in any field of tech. That being said, the posts on any category after long periods of use are unique and useful. Most reviews are right out of the box.

  34. Jonathan Robitaille

    Thanks for your great work!

Reviews are my favorite and I have purchased many items over the years after seeing them on your site.

    Cheers!

  35. My favorite kind of Gadgeteer post is product reviews, esp electronic gizmos and accessories that are immediately available, rather than in process or pilot stages.

  36. Your product reviews are the best– of the information not only on this site, but across many. Hands-on is a bonus, especially when accompanied by illustrative pictures (this, also, you do well). I prefer “News” the least; while the idea of providing a heads up is sound, the short zero-substance blurbs read like just one more bit of advertising.

    Keep up the good work!

  37. I enjoy the “real world” user reviews of products on this site. Also, like the variety of products covered (not exclusively tech gadgets).

  38. I absolutely love reading your product reviews. When I’m in the market for a tech particular product, my first stop is The Gadgeteer. Your reviews are always unbiased and well-detailed. Kudos.

  39. I love articles about EDC items. Reviews, News, Previews, whatever.. I have a serious amount of EDC, and I am always looking for more.

  40. I love “NEWS FLASH” items about gadgets that represent a totally new idea — that makes me say, “Whoa! That whole concept had never even occurred to me before!”
I also am really grateful for the REVIEW articles of a new, big, famous item — like the latest iPhone or Apple Watch etc. I almost never buy the latest/greatest thing on the first day anymore, I want to wait for the Gadgeteer Review to arrive. You all always offer a clear, functional description of what works, what might have been a good idea if it were well executed, and what is just (what shall I say?) stoopid!
    Keep it up, y’all !

  41. I absolutely love your reviews section, because it saves me both time and money when i’m shopping for an item. Keep up the good work!!

  42. Found this site looking for info:
Shark Rocket HV300 ultra-lightweight upright vacuum.
The review was posted February 2, 2014.
This is what I like to see, unbiased reviews on products I am considering purchasing. This review was excellent and answered all my concerns.

  43. Great!
I like to read the reviews and come here to see whats new.

The pocket gear category is good also.
Found this site looking for info:
Shark Rocket HV300 ultra-lightweight upright vacuum.

  44. I love the product reviews. I have been reading the Gadgeteer since the PDA days (Sony NR 70) and have bought many items using it as a starting place. Plus as a bag junkie I really enjoy the bag reviews.

  45. I’d go with a hybrid of the news (upcoming releases, etc), and follow the product(s) for a month or two post release (incorporating reviews/how-to’s) creating a sub-section based on product type/brand, etc.

  46. Do you like to read news? Reviews? App reviews? Product reviews? How-to articles? Basically what do you want to see more of?

I like this website because of the product reviews of the various reviewers. As the website implies gadgets, I would not necessarily expect tech news on this website but a short blurb on upcoming/in the works product reviews would be nice. Keep up the good job.

  47. I enjoy the reviews and news. I have purchased more items that have been reviewed on this website than any other website. Your advertisers should know this.

  48. I’ve been reading your blog since the beginning. To this day, your product reviews are so thorough compared to everyone else.

  49. I like posts about the gadgets. I’ve been reading your blog since the beginning. To this day, your product reviews are so thorough compared to everyone else.I absolutely love your reviews section, because it saves me both time and money when i’m shopping for an item. Keep up the good work
