Bracketron’s new EZCharge two-way port USB chargers let you charge your USB enabled gadgets in your vehicle. That in itself isn’t unique, but the fact that the USB ports in the charger can accept USB cables plugged in regardless to orientation is unique. We’ve featured cables like the Remax reversible USB cables that can be inserted into USB ports in either direction, but now we’re starting to see accessories with the same functionality on the port side. I’m sure I’m not the only person who gets annoyed when I try to plug in a USB cable only to fail and then have to flip it over to try again. It’s great that manufacturers are starting to provide a solution to this problem. The Bracketron EZCharge will be introduced in a few weeks at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and will then be available at www.bracketron.com for $12.99 – 24.99 depending on model.

  2. I’ve got little sugru dots on the tops of all my USB cables with other dots showing the tops of the ports. I can match them up in very low-to-no light conditions.

I just match dots to dots. And when the dots are bright yellow I can see which way they go very easily.

No need for new cables or ports.
