I’ve shown you the elfa desk system I built for my home office, but I haven’t shown you all the other elfa systems in my house.  We have a huge bookshelf that stores books and serves as the support table for the giant, 88-key electronic keyboard, my daughter’s desk system, and the closet drawer systems.  I also have two elfa Door and Wall Rack systems in my house, which are what we’re interested in today.  These systems can be screwed into a solid door (or wall) or hung on a hollow door with overdoor hooks, which I’ve used on my pantry and utility room doors.  Once the hanging standard has been attached to the door, you outfit it with a variety of baskets that easily hook into the standard.  There are small baskets sized for spice jars and big baskets for cooking staples or cleaning supplies.  There are even components to store rolls of wrapping paper.  The Door and Wall Rack components are made of durable epoxy-bonded steel, and they are available in white or platinum.  You can custom design your own system by selecting the exact components you need (prices vary from $10 to $18 for components), or you can buy pre-assembled systems designed for your bathroom, kitchen pantry, craft room gift wrapping supplies, or even for your CDs and DVDs (system prices vary from $92 to $110).  Check the Container Store for more details for the elfa Door and Wall Rack systems.

  2. I have not used the EXACT brand, but I’ll tell you these things ROCK my socks. Our first house had so little storage, I put there anywhere I could. Made a huge difference.
