One of my must-have features whenever I’m shopping for a new phone is Qi wireless charging. This feature is becoming more common on Android smartphones, but Apple hasn’t added it to their iPhones yet, even the brand new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus do not have this handy feature. We’ve seen 3rd party covers for iPhones that add Qi charging capability, but they tend to be bulky and unattractive. These new covers from Brando add Qi charging but don’t detract from the iPhone’s slim format. The covers are available for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and come in either black or gold versions. The covers snap on the back of the phone and feature a short cable that attaches to the Lightning port on the bottom edge of the phone. You’ll need a Qi charging dock / pad in order to actually charge the phone, so check our related posts links below for some ideas on that. These new Qi wireless charging covers are priced at $22 for the iPhone 6 version and $24 for the iPhone 6 Plus version.

  2. So far my experience has been “this has tried to burn up my $850 phone.” Absolutely terrible. After 45 minutes it’s way too hot to hold the freaking phone. No way can I approve Qi charging for iDevices in its current state

  3. Had this for about 2 months before the tiny ribbon cable that connects to the phone cracked and stopped charging. Loved it up until that moment. The only time it would get excessively hot was when I tried charging inside the closed center console of my car. Charging speed was acceptable, convenience factor was awesome.

  4. Any ones for the 6s Plus and QI? I always thought that the reason i don’t see the Qi charging for leather wallet cases is cause the wireless charging probably fries your credit cards or chips.. Torro case is the only one i’ve seen andit’s english and pricey.

any thoughts? you guys have any? I would add the qi charging sticker on mine if i didn’t fear it frying
