  1. Gadgeteer Comment Policy - Please read before commenting
  2. Still trying to get used to it – but I’m a creature of habit.

Maybe it’ll grow on me over time.

    thanks!

  3. The new website seems more ‘modern’ than the old layout. so far – I think I like it better.

  4. I like the horizontal layout; there’s less scrolling required and I am a lazy reader! The only thing I don’t like as much is the Latest Post at the top. The latest post repeats underneath so it feels redundant. Maybe you want to reserve the top spot for a featured review of the week, or the week’s hottest topic (judged by the number of comments.)

  5. So far don’t care for it, version on my tablet seems harder to find data. Links under latest posts are not helpful. Unfortunately I think the change was a step backward.

  6. I like the new layout – not overcrowded with ads or distractions. Easy to see the latest articles. Overall, a nice clean feel.

  7. I like the new color scheme but, I’m not crazy about the layout.
I still love the reviews though! 🙂

  8. I think the new layout is very clean and stream lined and easy on my eyes easy navigation too great job.

  9. Great Job! _EZ_ to read by computer or device in the dark or _Buy Direct_ sunlight ( <- come on I'm already promoting their site)

  10. Many times when a company redesigns a web site, they get worse. But you guys did a great job! Very nicely done with all we need to check everything out and especially on the mobile device end! Thank you!

  11. At first I liked the new layout, but at this point it still feels incomplete. I guess it is a the large white space in and around objects on the page as well as the side borders.

  12. I like the new site layout. it is very clean. The only thing I notice, and it was this way before you redesigned it, was that the site is a bit slow on its initial load.

Much more intuitive than your last version through its organization. It’s better clarified and I like the tiling of the gadgets overall.

The top menu and content nav could be simplify. Just combine the two tiers.

The mobile version is still popping up on my phone, so I’d recommend turning that off since your responsive layout takes care of mobile use.

I’d still like to see you have a more cohesive overall brand, still beginning with the logo, but I understand if you’re not wanting or willing to change it. Just brand will overall help to strategize look, feel and tone. The site still feels a bit templated and the type could be addresses to be more stylized, but I’m letting the picky designer in me speak to much.

    Long to short, big improvements!

  14. I’m going to be honest with you guys. I went on this website looking for information on the apen a5. I was very pleased with the review. I just happened to see a banner informing me if the opportunity to receive a gift certificate and thought it would be interesting. Ithink the website is very well structured and appreciate the effort that you guys have put into designing an easy website in which it’s simple to navigate. Thanks.

  15. I kind of like the old site in terms of how the reviews look, but I really like the way the new site is organized and the organizational tools available. Nevertheless, the site is still fun to use and my go-to place for gadget knowledge.
