2 of my nieces had there first child, healthy ones. It doesn’t get any better than that.
As I grow older, I’ve lost so many family members. My best gift this year was to be with my daughter and remaining family and enjoy the day and be thankful for all we have.

My favorite gift was a custom black opal necklace slide that was hung in the tree on an ornament hanger. It looked like an ornament. I was told I had to hunt for it. When it is jewelry as a gift from Hubby, he always hides it in plain sight a week before.
I never see it until he tells me to hunt for it, because it is not yearly so I don’t know I am getting it. lol I have gotten enough from him to know at Christmas it is hung in the tree so I don’t have to hunt all over the house. But we have two trees this year. It was fun and it is beautiful.
