The next generation Flipside wallet is now available with 2 new colors, updated stronger hinges, a newly redesigned locking mechanism, rugged new texture on the outer shell that repels most scratches and a smoother curve geometry, making it slightly smaller and more comfortable in pocket. The Flipside 3X can now store both cash and cards inside the newly lengthened cash slot, bringing the wallet’s total capacity to 10 cards. A new four-armed detachable clip system attaches to the wallet and features a durable rubber strap that can hold business cards, regular cards, any paper currency, receipts, tickets and more. The new clip is useful for holding some of the wider paper currencies, such as Canada notes or U.K. notes. You can order the Flipside 3X for $39.95 from the Flipside online shop.

  2. I’ve been using the 2X since it came out and I gotta tell you, I LOVE this wallet. Not even sure I’d want to upgrade. The elastic band sounds neat but easy to snag on other items in your wallet and with a little time will be shredded and useless. Still, I’d love to see it in action.

  3. Hi Mark,

The new detachable clip system on the 3X Wallet has a high strength monomer rubber strap–it is NOT elastic.

The Monomer rubber is extremely tough and resilient, has great heat/weather resistance, and also firmly grips anything put underneath it.

  4. I LIKE THE DESIGN! But i have more than 10 cards and alots of notes. i don’t think it can squeeze in 17 cards and about 0.5mm thick notes right?

  5. Flipside doesn’t want to do business with people connecting from Germany. The web-site says: “Forbidden – Users from your country are not permitted to browse this site.” – Chauvinists!

  6. The article headline highlights new colors but the content does not indicate what the colors are. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal but when attempting to make a purchase at the online store, one is asked to make a color selection. The colors are listed by name but are not paired with an image. Again not a problem unless you prefer one of TWO blue colors. A light blue and a dark blue… which according to the selection menu are either BOLT BLUE or IMPULSE BLUE. Not paired with an image so WHICH BLUE IS WHICH???
