I’m sure this Digital Protractor would have been frowned on in my math classes, but it could certainly make your adult life easier.  Whether you’re drawing a plan or marking the cut you’re about to make for a home improvement project, this product from ThinkGeek could make sure you get it right the first time.  It consists of two stainless steel rulers that measure in centimeters or inches, and the digital protractor measures angles with ±0.3° accuracy.  Fully extended, the protractor measures 1.38″ x 15.75″ x 0.79″.  It has a hole for anchoring the ruler for measuring or drawing or for just hanging it up until you need it.  You can lock it open at a specified angle to make multiple cuts easier.  It’s $19.99.
