Now you can have your own Moleskine books custom printed from the Paper iPad app

We told you about the Paper by FiftyThree app right after it came out.  It’s a beautiful journaling app that lets you create your own digital Moleskine-like notebooks full of your photos, drawings, and writings.  Now FiftyThree and Moleskine have joined forces to create Book to turn your virtual notebook into a real-life notebook.  After you’ve created a notebook, you can have it printed directly from your Paper app.  You’ll select up to 15 pages to be printed, and you can select to have your book created with the normal Moleskine cover or select an image for a custom cover.  (You can choose a blank notebook with a custom cover, also.) The books use a new format to match the 4:3 ratio of the iPad screen.  It’s printed on fine, Italian-made, premium, matte paper.  The book is accordion-folded, so you can see you complete images as you designed them, with nothing lost in the “gutters” of a spine-bound book.  Each book is $40.  These will make beautiful, meaningful gifts for friends and family or for yourself.

Do you still have the iPad mini? The Paper app works great on mine.

    OMG. best idea ever.
Paper is my go-to sketching app, and works great with my (replacement) Ten-One digital connect stylus!
Hard part is trying to find 15 decent sketches I’d want to immortalize in an actual book ;p
