I have been using a Polaroid PoGo printer for a couple of years to print pictures to stick in my journal. They don’t print the best, but the printer is small and I don’t have to worry about the ink drying up because it doesn’t use ink. It uses special ZINK Zero-Ink color thermal paper. I’m excited to learn more about ZINK’s new Smart App Printers which allow you to do more than just print images captured on your smartphone. There are two models: the hAppy and the hAppy+. The hAppy is wireless and interfaces with an iOS or Android device to embellish your already existing images to add text and graphics. The hAppy+ has all the features and abilities of the hAppy Smart Printer, but adds a color touchscreen and the ability to run it’s own apps so it can be used as a stand alone printer without needing another device like a smartphone. The photographic-quality ZINK Paper comes in roll form in different widths such as 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4”, 1” and 2”. The paper has an adhesive backing so that you can use the finished images like stickers, labels, etc. Both printers are available from ZINK and are priced at $199.99 and $299.99 respectively.

Is this an ad or a review? What do you think of it? Quality? Cost? How well does it work? How fast does it print?

@Will it’s neither an ad or a review. It’s a news post. I saw it while surfing for news yesterday and thought it looked like an interesting product because I’ve had experience with other ZINK printers. I may buy one to review.

@Juana interesting news. Does that mean you have to buy it through their TV show, or can you get it on the web too? I don’t think I’ve ever purchased anything from HSN before.
