I have an 11″ MacBook Air, and it irks me to no end that most laptop bags that are supposedly designed for this tiny laptop will disclose in the fine print that they will accommodate up to a 15″ laptop. I don’t want my Air floating around in a giant, heavy bag. I don’t even want a bag that can accommodate both the 11″ and the 13″ Airs, either. Frost River has just what I’m looking for – a tiny bag for a tiny laptop! The Protege – Apple MacBook Air bag comes in two sizes, one for the 11″ Air (8.5″tall X 13″wide, 1 lb) and a bigger one for the 13″ Air (9″ tall X 15″ wide, 1.15 lb). The bags are made of 10.10 oz. waxed canvas and premium leather, with a cotton webbing strap and solid brass hardware. They have exterior pockets – 3 on the back, one on the front – to hold your accessories. The 11″ Air bag is $100; the 13″ size is $110. If you don’t have an Air, Frost River says they have several sizes of these bags to fit a variety of electronic devices.
