In March of this year, I purchased (and reviewed) the new Roku 3 because I could use it to add Time Warner Cable programming to my bedroom TV without needing to rent a cable box.  I now have sharp, clear cable channels on that TV that supplements the over-the-air network channels I get using an indoor antenna.  (See related links for reviews of the Roku 3 and the FlatWave Amped antenna.)  Time Warner also offers their programming through mobile devices, and starting this summer, Time Warner Cable subscribers with an Xbox 360 and an Xbox Live Gold membership will be able to watch TWC programming through their Xbox, too.  You’ll just download the app from the Xbox Live Marketplace and login with your TWC credentials to get started.  Read the press release for more details.
