The “Tiny Monster” TM26 flashlight from NiteCore is stated to be the world’s smallest 3500 lumen flashlight.  It has a 5.6″ length, 2.0″ tube diameter, and 2.8″ head diameter and weighs 15.5 ounces without the batteries.  It has four  CREE XM-L LEDs and is powered by either four 18650 Li-ion or eight CR123 batteries.  It’s made of “HAIII military grade hard-anodized aerospace-grade aluminum alloy” with a stainless steel bezel ring and a “toughened ultra-clear mineral glass with anti-reflective coating.”  Circuitry protects the batteries during recharging and protects the flashlight from overheating.  The TM26 has eight switchable brightness levels, and it is “waterproof in accordance with IPX-8 (submersible to two meters).”  It comes with a wall charger, lanyard, holster, and an extra O-ring, but it doesn’t come with batteries.  The NiteCore TM26 flashlight is available at ThinkGeek for $389.99, and they have a set of  four 2600mAh Li-ion 18650 batteries for an additional $54.99.

  2. I have to wonder if this flashlight will heat up in your hands? I have bought some very powerful LED flashlights in the past and they actually heat up really quick and you cannot hold it?

  3. @Julie – There’s a image of a chart on the ThinkGeek product page (additional images) that shows at 3500 lumen (Turbo Mode), it’s suppose to last up to 45 minutes with the 18650 batteries and up to a hour with the CR123 batteries…

  4. Good lord, my maglight pro+ is 245 lumens and often too bright for close up work. IT gets hot with prolonged usage. This thing could probably double as emergency camp stove.
