The latest watch from Tokyoflash is the Kisai X, with a time-display method inspired by cryptography.  The watch has a stainless steel band and case in your choice of black or natural silver tone, and the LED display is available in blue, green, or red.  It has time (12 or 24 hour), date, alarm, and demonstration modes, and it’s water-resistant to 3ATM. It has a USB-rechargeable battery inside; a charging cable and a screwdriver to access the charging port are included .  As always, Tokyoflash is introducing the watch at a special price.  It’s $99 until Thursday, March 7th at 4pm (Japan time).

Hey, Bob. Apparently the USB is only for charging – and you need a screwdriver to open the watch up so you can charge it!

  3. And all along I thought it was a secret compartment to keep spy messages, microfilm, a cyanide capsule or some such!
Love the “What the hell time is it” watches you post 🙂

Bob, I always just consider them lighted jewelry. Cell phones are easier to check the time on. 😉

  5. My girlfriend just bought me a Timex Explorer watch with a leather band (which I must wear at all times to keep her happy) and it actually has hands on it! It also has a little light that glows kinda green when you press the winding pin gear thingy. All I have to do is look at my wrist to know the time of day. It’s kinda nice 🙂
