This bird feeder station from Kickstarter hides a camera inside so you can see and capture images and video of the birds that visit it.  The Bird Photo Booth is just an enclosure with macro and polarizing lenses included (others are planned for future release);  you have to put your iPhone, iPod touch, or GoPro camera inside.  The enclosure is made of sustainable FSC white oak hardwood, protective soft foam interior, and CNC metal hardware, and it can be mounted on a tripod, on a tree, or on the ground to photograph birds or other wildlife.  You can set a feeding bowl on the platform or hang a feeder from the top of the Bird Photo Booth, and you’ll need to install apps on your iOS device or your GoPro camera for live streaming that allows you to watch, photograph and video birds in real time.  There are only 4 days left in the funding period, but the project has already exceeded funding goals.  You still have time to pledge $149 to get a Bird Photo Booth of your own.  Delivery time is planned for Spring 2013.  It’s a great gift for the birders you know.
