SendtoKindle

Browsing the web at work?  Found an article you’d really like to read but don’t have the time to do it now, and you’d rather read it tonight in bed on your Kindle Paperwhite? Amazon has Send to Kindle browser extensions for both Firefox and Chrome.  Install the extension, tell it a few things like what device(s) to send it to, whether to use Whispersync or not, and if you want to archive a copy in your Amazon account, and away you go. Another handy feature in Amazon’s Kindle ecosystem.

  2. I’ve been using a similar extension for Firefox and a different one for Chrome. I am enthused at the idea of having one that comes from Amazon.

It is really convenient to send articles to my Kindle. Sometimes I send things from magazine web sites. But I’ve started going to Wikipedia and just picking random topics to learn about.

For example, since “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition” I downloaded that article.
