Great post! Have you heard of Bumblejax? They do something similar, but they can also print on acrylic, gator board and bamboo, in addition to aluminum. I just had a few photos printed on aluminum and acrylic. They were a bit pricey, but really high quality. You should check ‘em out for future projects: http://www.bumblejax.com/
