Tiny Tim Book Light Looks Like Luxo Jr.

Remember the Luxo lamps used in Pixar’s logo and cartoons?  The Tiny Tim Book Light from Mustard reminds me of that lamp.  The Tiny Tim is much smaller than even Luxo Jr., though.  The lamp is made of plastic and stands 1.6″ X 2″ X 6.7″, and its LED bulb is powered by three 1.5V AGS batteries.  You can clip it to a book or an eBook reader or just stand it on your desk.  The lamp is available in black or red for £7.99 (about $12.50).  Mustard is based in England, but you can check their website for distributors in other countries.  Their website says they can work with you to get you a product if there is no distributor in your area.

I’m not quite sure what button battery type AGS 1.5V is. I did a search to see how much the button cell cost and only got AG cells or LR1130… I even went to the product website and looked at the specs.
I have found that button batteries are sometimes hard to find. That’s why I was checking for AGS batteries on the web for this need little light.
I’ll just stick with AA or AAA batteries products that I know I can just walk into any store to purchase. Well, except for wristwatch batteries that is because they’d be too big to ware :)

Bob, I’m not familiar with those batteries either, but I did see that Amazon also sells the book light. Hopefully, they’d have the batteries, too.

And what you need is a nice wristwatch that runs on a D cell battery. ;)

At least two D sized batteries. Probably made in Russia in the 70′s :)

You wouldn’t need reading glasses to see that watch face! ;)

@Ian The only thing Teddy watches is the kitchen door to see if anyone is getting a snack he might want to share. ;)
