I love Sony Walkmans…but seriously, they got to add in a micro-SD slot in these.

Walkman age is over. Even the iPod age is over now. I’m not sure if anyone would buy these things when we have smartphones and tablets.

@roshan Devices like this – little tablet computers, in effect – are great for kids who want a tablet. They are cheaper, but some of them can do most, if not all, of the things the bigger tablets can do.

Sorry, Sony. I believe that ship has sailed. Be innovative, or go the way of your laser disc.

Yeah, I agree with @Janet – if this is full-featured Android machine, it could grab a bit of the iPod Touch market. Those things are the gateway drug to the iPhone for pre-teens who are not yet trusted with a full smartphone. I have many customers who get iPod Touches for grandkids, just so they can FaceTime or Skype with them whenever the kid is in Wifi range. If this SONY device packs that type capability, it’ll grab some interest. If it’s just a touch-enabled iPod music=playing wannabe, then, yes, as @Kryptik states, “That ship has sailed!”
