mintIf your home or garage is way overdue for a cleaning, Mint Market wants to help motivate you to clear the clutter and get organized by getting rid of all the things you’ve purchased but never used. Mint Market is a free marketplace for mint condition pre-owned items. Using their mobile app for iOS and Android, you can sell (or buy) items based on their complete user-base or just to your friends, colleagues or acquaintances through social networks such as Facebook, schools or the workplace. They even have an alert system that will notify you when something on your wish list is being been offered for sale.

In an effort to get the word out about this new app and service, Mint Market is offering 3 lucky winners their choice of a $25 gift card for either Bed Bath & Beyond, or Home Depot. Full contest details after the jump.

  1. Gadgeteer Comment Policy - Please read before commenting
  2. Brand new Husquavara computerized embroidery sewing machine, paid more than $1,000, 4 years ago. Still in the box.

  3. I would have to say the $50,000 kit plane that’s sitting in crates in the garage…

  4. Julie when you comming over to my hosue to help me clean up? I have al these BBS machines, and dot matrix printers laying around. 😀

  5. I have some brake rotors for my car that have been sitting on the shelf for about a year. Not to worry, they are still on the list of things to do!

  6. Paper! I generally buy only what I need and use, so the honor of sitting untouched on the shelf for an extended time goes to household goods bought in bulk. So for the moment, that honor goes to a case of printer paper. 🙂

  7. It wasn’t quite lately, but a few years ago we bought a 42″ flat screen TV and a wall hanger. Put the TV on a stand “temporarily”. Years later, the TV is still on the stand, and the $200 hanger still in the box, unopened…

  8. My boyfriend bought a back up Xbox 360 just in case his old one dies or gets the “red ring of death” and he has NOT even opened it yet. It seriously is just sitting around collecting dust…..Men, can’t live with them can’t live without them!

  9. Found a new computer on sale, got as a spare, ect. still in box. It was a good deal and upgrading it could be a spare time project if I ever take it out of the box.

  10. Barbara Donnelly

I bought a polaroid instant digital camera z340. Still sitting in the box. I’m waiting to see my 20 month old grandson so we can have fun with it together.
