Magpul Cases Wrap Your iPhone in Tactical Style

In the spirit of Act of Valor and all things tactical is the Magpul Field Case for iPhone. Made from the same synthetic rubber as the original Magpul loop, a weapon magazine made from a proprietary polymer known for its reliability and durability, the Field Case is a semi-rigid cover for your iPhone that provides protection and easy install without the rubbery exterior of a normal silicone skin case. The standard version features ribs for reinforcement and improved grip, while the Executive version is a bit more slimmed down. Available for the iPhone 3GS in the standard version and for the iPhone 4/4S in both the standard (bottom view) and Executive versions (top view), each in multiple colors for $9.95. It appears that the 4/4S versions are currently not available directly from Magpul, but they can be found at many brick-and-mortar gun and hunting shops and tons of online etailers.

I’ve had mine for over a month now and have nothing negative to say about it. Unlike ordinary silicon cases, these emerge from tight-pockets with ease and lint-free!!! An added bonus is the sensible recycled-paper packaging and made-in-USA mantra.
Definitely my new go-to case, and thinking of ordering a orange variant for my non-corporate days ;)

@Anson – Thanks for the comments. I just picked up one of these myself. Stay tuned for a full-on review!

Like Anson, I have one of these on my iPhone 4s (since November 2011). My son recommended it to me. I like it a lot. It’s protected it from a couple of drops on asphalt. The only thing I can call a con is the hole for the headphone jack is a bit small, so you have to make sure you get plugs where that are thin near the case, otherwise, the plug won’t push in all the way. Since this is my first iPhone (and case) I don’t know if most cases are like that or not.
